Why paper slips get expensive in a workshop

In many car workshops the knowledge about a vehicle sits in three places: in the head of the master mechanic, on a job slip and somewhere in the calendar. When the customer calls, someone starts searching. Buchungsfluss keeps a file per vehicle with registration, chassis number, mileage and the complete job history. From estimate to invoice without retyping

The usual workshop process is a chain: the customer asks, an estimate goes out, approval comes back, the work is done, the invoice follows.
