How much does it cost?
The Start plan is free forever (5 invoices per month, e-invoicing included). On top of that there are a Pro and a Business plan (monthly or yearly), plus a free 14-day trial of all features. You will find current prices and a feature comparison on our pricing page.
Can I try it for free?
Yes. Register and write your first invoice, with nothing to install. The Start plan stays free with no time limit.
Is it GoBD-compliant?
Buchungsfluss supports a GoBD-compliant way of working: issued documents are immutable, numbering is gap-free and the document flow is traceable. For your specific tax treatment please talk to your tax advisor.
Do you support e-invoicing (ZUGFeRD/XRechnung)?
Yes. Buchungsfluss creates e-invoices in ZUGFeRD and XRechnung format so you meet the B2B e-invoicing requirements.
Is there a DATEV export?
Yes. You can hand over your data to your tax advisor via DATEV export, plus there are further export options for your reports.
Does it work for the small-business rule (§19)?
Yes. You can enable the German small-business rule (§19 UStG): the invoice shows no VAT and carries the required note. You can show regular VAT just as well.
Can I import my existing data?
Yes. You can import existing data (e.g. customers and articles) via CSV, including from other programs like billware, so you do not start from scratch.
Which devices does it run on?
Buchungsfluss runs in your browser, with nothing to install and nothing to update. Windows, Mac, Linux, tablet and phone all use the same interface and the same data. All you need is a current browser.
Can I use Buchungsfluss on my phone?
Yes. The interface is built for small screens, so you can create and send invoices from your phone browser. Add buchungsfluss.de to your home screen once and it opens like an app, with its own icon and no address bar.
How secure is my data?
We build Buchungsfluss in Germany. We transmit your data encrypted and store it in the EU. The details are in our privacy policy.
How do I create an invoice?
After logging in you create a new invoice under “Invoices”, pick the customer and line items and issue it. You can adjust layout, logo and colours beforehand in the invoice designer.
Can I create quotes and reminders?
Yes. Besides invoices you can create quotes, credit notes, cancellation and partial invoices and payment reminders, plus recurring invoices.
Can I customise the invoice layout?
Yes. In the invoice designer you pick templates, accent colour, logo, font, density and columns. You can save several layout templates and use them per brand or per invoice.
Is there inventory management?
Yes. Inventory management with stock levels, storage locations, movements and sales is included in the Business plan. Delivery notes & shipping is also available as an add-on module for any plan.
Is there a workshop module?
Yes, a bookable add-on module for car workshops: vehicles, workshop orders and estimates, tyre storage and a workshop planner. It can be added to any plan.
Are there modules for specific industries?
Yes. There are industry order modules, e.g. for tattoo studios, vehicle detailing and cleaning services, with photos, deposits, checklists and conversion into an invoice.
Can several people work as a team?
Yes. You can invite staff by email and give each person exactly the areas and rights they need (e.g. accounting only or inventory only). Team management is visible only to owners and full-access admins.
How do I pay for the subscription?
We bill the subscription by credit card through our payment provider Stripe. Your own invoices can carry whatever payment details you like.
How can I cancel?
You can cancel your subscription online at any time via the billing management in your account. As a consumer you also have a right of withdrawal.
