Text recognition reads the key fields
Buchungsfluss reads amount, date and supplier from the image and proposes them. You check and confirm. It does not save you looking, but it saves you typing.
Filed unalterably
A captured receipt is locked and no longer changed. Every change to the record appears in the audit trail with a timestamp. That is the basis for GoBD-compliant workflows.
Cash book
Cash income and expenses go into the cash book, sequentially and with a running balance. Entries are unalterable once locked.
Suppliers in one place
Every receipt hangs on a supplier. That shows you what you spent with whom over the year, without maintaining a spreadsheet.
Where text recognition reaches its limit
- It works best with photos and image files. PDFs are archived; you enter the fields there yourself.
- Badly lit or creased receipts are read unreliably. You then correct the suggestions.
- It does not post to accounts. Your tax advisor does that from the export.
