E-invoicing, with no add-on
Between businesses in Germany the electronic invoice is mandatory. Buchungsfluss generates it as XML in the standard your recipient needs, in every plan.
ZUGFeRD as CII XML
For business customers. Buchungsfluss writes the invoice data as CII XML per EN 16931. The file carries all mandatory fields in structured form so your customer can read it in automatically.
XRechnung as UBL XML
For the public sector. Federal, state and local authorities require this format. Buchungsfluss creates it from the same invoice data; you only pick the format when issuing.
No surcharge, no module
E-invoicing is part of the product, not a paid extra. Including in the free Start plan. Anyone writing five invoices a month meets the obligation without spending a euro.
Receiving always works
An obligation that is often overlooked: businesses must also be able to receive e-invoices. Incoming invoices are filed as receipts, unalterably and with an audit trail.
What Buchungsfluss does not do here
- No hybrid PDF. Buchungsfluss delivers the e-invoice as an XML file, not as a PDF with embedded XML.
- No connection to an invoicing network such as Peppol. You hand the file over yourself.
- No check whether your recipient accepts the format. Clarify that with them.
Which plan
All of them. ZUGFeRD and XRechnung are included in the free Start plan, just as in Pro and Business. We think charging for a legal obligation is wrong.
